Indoor play and rainy-day spots for toddlers and young kids in Kitchener-Waterloo

Last checked: Oct 2026. Independent guide; not affiliated with the cities, the Region or any venue listed. No paid placements.

Toddlers and preschoolers need somewhere to move, and parents need somewhere warm and dry. These are our picks from the KW Family Guide directory, not a ranking: a mix of free drop-ins, indoor play centres and places that are calm enough for little ones. Prices and hours are from each venue's own site when we checked; they change, so confirm before you go. You'll find more options on our indoor play page.
