KW Family Guide ("we") is an independent guide based in Ontario, Canada. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Newsletter: your email address and the record of your consent (date, time, signup page).
• Business submissions: business details you send us and a contact name and email (the contact details are not published).
• Site analytics: aggregated, cookie-free visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

To send the newsletter you asked for, to review and publish business listings, and to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Service providers and where data is stored

We use trusted providers that may store data outside Canada, including the United States and the EU: our newsletter platform (Kit or beehiiv), our form provider (Tally), and our hosting provider (Cloudflare). Your information may be subject to the laws of those countries.

How long we keep it

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, plus consent records for as long as required by law. Business submission contacts are kept while the listing is active.

Your choices

Unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This site is for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
